For those in the Georgia area looking for an intimate and fun weekend writers' conference, check out the Turner Cassity Writers' Workshop. I'll be giving this year's keynote on Being a Writer.
Presented
by the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County, this event
provides aspiring writers in West Georgia an opportunity to develop
their writing skills and prepare their works for publication under the
guidance of expert and experienced authors.
There will
be multiple workshops all day on Saturday, a Keynote Address, public
readings and a reception on Saturday night; a panel discussion Sunday
afternoon, concluding with readings and book signings by the featured

Playwrights will find Pamela Turner and Having Your Monologue and Selling It Too!
