This year brings some changes in the Hardy household. Right before Thanksgiving, my husband and I moved near the Orlando, FL area. Though I grew up in South Florida, I'd gotten used to the mountains and cold of North Georgia. Readjusting to all the sunshine has been a little weird, but we've adapted quickly and we're enjoying life in the Sunshine State.
We're still living half out of boxes, but eventually it'll all find a home (please, oh, please). The cats are loving the lizard situation and I suspect I'll be rescuing quite a few of the little guys on a weekly basis. The three giant Sandpiper Cranes who live in the area scare the fur off them, but hey, it's a trade off.
I haven't had a chance yet to meet all my local booksellers and check out the libraries, but I'm looking forward to doing both, as well as visiting some Central Florida schools in 2016. So many new people to meet!
